EXCERPT FROM PRESS RELEASE FROM THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON & CHELSEA:
The Early Years PVI Forum in Kensington and Chelsea recognised that it is high time leaders and managers in voluntary, private and independent Early Years settings were given the opportunity to develop a leadership approach and skills that will equip them for the challenges they face in a sector where the demands continue apace.

Councillor Shireen Ritchie, Cabinet Member for Family and Children’s Services, said: “We are committed to ensuring that every nursery and pre-school in our borough offers children the support they need to achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes.  The calibre of management of these settings is a vital ingredient in delivering services to meet the needs of children at this critical stage in their development”.

The programme is led by training and development coach Tracy Seed, who has established a reputation for innovative practice, enhancing development for Early Years professionals.
