Tracy Seed Associates was established in 2006 with the intention of facilitating emotionally intelligent communication and exceptional relationships in families, businesses, schools, prisons, early year’s settings and corporations.

The motivation to set up the company came from Tracy’s strong desire to contribute to the social, emotional development and well-being of others.

Tracy's interest in this area grew from the experience of running her own company and in her role as managing director of a successful nursery chain. Here she developed her skills in human and organisational development and over the last 25 years she has been fortunate to train with some of the worlds leading experts, in the fields of communication, learning and development, including Tony Robbins, Tony Buzan, Ian McDermott, Robert Dilts, Tad James, Michael Gelb, and Marshall Rosenberg PhD.

She is particularly passionate about the work of David Weikart of the High/Scope Research Foundation, Marshall Rosenberg PhD of the Centre for Nonviolent Communication and Peter Elfer’s work relating to emotionally containing models of professional development. Tracy is committed to providing services and working collaboratively with others to drive continuous improvement in all areas of education.

“In the private nursery sector, one of the most challenging issues facing leaders and managers of nurseries over the next decade will be how to find and protect the resources necessary for attention to be given to the emotional well being of children and staff. Tracy Seed is someone with a depth of understanding about the emotional demands arising from the professional care of other people's children in nursery but who is also experienced in the financial realities of nursery management. Combining these two sets of experience and knowledge in her training places her in unique position to facilitate nursery workforce development.” Peter Elfer, Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies, Roehampton University.

Tracy Seed is a specialist in communication, personal, social and emotional development. She also works with music, movement and dance. She has worked with children and families since 1984. She set up her first nursery in 1985 and operated her own small group through the 1980’s and 90’s until she became a consultant and later the Managing Director of a high quality nursery chain. She is a qualified teacher, an endorsed High/Scope Trainer. A Life, Parent and leadership coach, trained mediator and NLP Master Practitioner. Since 2006 she is recognised in the UK as an independent trainer for Nonviolent communication: this is the philosophy that underpins all of her work and this is evident in her style of delivery. For the past three years she has also been undertaking a professional qualification as a Biodanza teacher she is a member of ABTUK.
