LEAD Leadership and Management Events and Programmes offer trainings that support a model of Leadership which focuses on building learning communities and establishing a team culture. Continuous engagement of staff in professional practice and in decision making processes within the setting.

Our trainings are for leaders who lead and manage groups, teams, initiatives, rooms, settings, services, projects and pedagogy and who want to develop the personal and professional attributes, attitudes and skills, required to master their highly complex roles.

The expectations of leadership in early years, children’s services and schools as well as in many other organisations are high, the role requires sector knowledge, flexibility, effective communication and a mature level of social and emotional development.

Our aim is to empower leaders into making conscious decisions about HOW they undertake their role and to equip them with the awareness and skills that they need.

During our programmes, early years professionals develop confidence and acquire new skills. They develop their knowledge and understanding of organisational culture, management, innovation and change.

“My candidate has been instrumental in reshaping and reconfirming the roles and a responsibility of her team; their productivity and effectiveness has soared” Nursery Proprietor, RBKC

This is what one participant said:

"I feel lucky that I was able to part of the training and part of our group of practitioners. I feel that so many practitioners would benefit from this training. I do hope you will be able to deliver it again. I really feel and believe that the reason I got the position I am about to take is thanks to all the knowledge you have given us. I am who I am today thanks to the course. The Sociocracy session had such a positive effect on me, the time when I was asked about the EEL project gave me confidence and those little 'bits' of the course have had such an impact on my life and on how I am more able to deal with some situations I wouldn’t have been able to deal with a few months ago and I really want to thank you. I feel lucky that I was able to part of the training and part of our group of practitioners. I feel that so many practitioners would benefit from this training. I do hope you will be able to deliver it again.” Early Years Centre Manager, RBKC
