Tuning into the Terrific Twos is a one day event that considers the child's behaviour and the adult's role in supporting positive interaction in the context of holistic development:

• Explore how two and three year olds have a growing sense of identity and competence, accompanied by frustration at their lack of autonomy • Experience how two year olds cope in a social situation; how they deal with their emotions and develop the ability to resolve problems
• Consider the provision of developmentally appropriate activities and establish the requirements of an enabling environment. • Tune in to the child's world and see things from their perspective
